DISKORD Sign With EDGERUNNER MUSIC

Oslo, Norway-based extreme metallers DISKORD have inked a deal with Edgerunner Music. The group will enter Skrekk & Skru studios late July to begin recording their debut album, tentatively due before the end of the year. The as-yet-untitled CD will contain "raw and fresh material utilizing DISKORD's trademark mix of brutal, old-school death metal, disharmonious riffs, odd time signatures and some plain old weird stuff," according to a press release. Furthermore, the group's long-awaited 7" EP, "HDFH", is still in the pipeline for release on the Italian label Buio Omega. The tracks set to appear on the EP are "HDFH", "Infested" and "Utopia".
